Autorenportrait

Wen Xu is full Professor and Dean from College of International Studies, Southwest University of China, Editor-in-chief of Cognitive Linguistic Studies, Asian-Pacific Journal of Second and Foreign Language Education, and editorial board members of such journals as Metaphor and Symbol, and Review of Cognitive Linguistics. He is President of China Cognitive Translation Society, and the vice president of China Cognitive Linguistics Association, and China Pragmatics Association. He is the co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Cognitive Linguistics, and the editor of the book series Frontier in China Cognitive Linguistics. His major research interests include cognitive linguistics, cultural and anthropological linguistics, pragmatics, etc.
