Lasers have been used in the medical field for over a century now. We know a lot about its usage, versatility and possible complications. Its use in pediatric dentistry has emerged as a boon for the practitioners as it provides numerous advantages over the conventional techniques in a wide array of treatment modalities. Ease of use, less time and a blood free working field are a few of the major advantages of lasers. Although,it is necessary to take all necessary precautions before its use.
