Theatre entrepreneurship exposes individuals to methods and ways of handling theatre not only as a method but also as a profession and therefore means of employment. The study of theatre arts at the tertiary level is to be made much more attractive academically as well as economically beneficial/ profitable to individuals. A theatre entrepreneur is that individual who has interest, background and qualification in a field of theatre and manages to innovatively employ the knowledge to create maximum productivity and optimum profit. In the wake of unemployment courses tailored to meet employment needs are relevant and indispensable for the development of individuals, communities and nations. All theatre personnel are equally to be seen as theatre entrepreneurs. It is hoped that this book serves in a way as a useful guide to those seeking concrete ways of entering Theatre Entrepreneurship.

Elias holds a Diploma in Theatre Studies, Diploma in Theology, B.A. (Hons) in Drama and Religion and M.Phil/Ph.D in Theatre for Development from Southampton University (King Alfred's College) in the United Kingdom. He is married to Francisca Sika-Asiama, with three children: Ernest, William and Lilian Asiama.
