This book focused on the relationship between rapid urbanization process, squatter settlements and housing policy interface in developing region particularly in the study area. Now-a-days the rate of urban population is increasing highly which results in illegal land holding for housing purpose. This illegal housing condition have a negative impact on urban development, environment and socio economic condition of urban dwellers. In connection to these problems, it is very important to consider the place of urban housing policy to solve the gaps.
