The growing concern in global waste recycling is a current reality, with the need to create new alternatives for the return of used products in the production cycle, and with the least possible impact on the environment.This publication focuses and proposes a closed-loop logistic process in textile recycling in the Portuguese market, in order to close the chain, involving the study of analysis, collection, transportation, storage, recycling, and replacement of the recycled product in the Portuguese market.In Portugal there is a recent market in the use of waste, mainly plastic, cardboard, glass and organic matter. A characteristic country of a poor and pre-desert soil, it increases the need to recover or recycle waste avoiding landfills. The recycling of textiles is not yet being explored with rigor.
