Zusatztext
The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact generated by the excessive increase in population density, i.e. overpopulation, on the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city of Puebla. For this reason, Maslow's Model of Needs Applied to Populations (MANMAP) was developed, where each dimension is evaluated to estimate the quality of life of the people through the satisfaction of aggregate needs. Therefore, a survey was carried out in the city of Puebla to find out the perception of satisfaction of the MANMAP dimensions over time in order to evaluate whether the gradual overpopulation leads to dissatisfaction. The results revealed that the excessive growth of population density in the city has reduced satisfaction in the MANMAP dimensions and therefore it is inferred that it has reduced their quality of life.
