Vocabulary knowledge is critical to the development of reading skills in elementary school age students. However, there is a lack of reading comprehension skills seen in the primary grade levels of Title 1 students. Lack of vocabulary exposure, acquisition and comprehension contribute to below-grade-level readers.Vocabulary knowledge is critical to the reading skill growth in elementary age student. The purpose of this study is to test the impact of specific technology on vocabulary acquisition and comprehension.
