The book observes the government failure to properly monitor and follow up the activities of the maritime sector to fully execute their duties and lack of proper funding to establish this sector to world standard. This book also highlights the Importance of Maritime Cybersecurity, fraudulent acts which is extremely rampant these days in our society. While there might be opportunity for improvement, the ongoing policies and laws in the maritime sector which conceivably cover most sectors if not all sectors of maritime business are sufficient to take the sector to a higher level. The author of this book has chosen to propose this book titled "Challenges and Prospects of Port and Maritime Industry in Nigeria " to acquaint interested persons on the practices of Port and Maritime Industry in Nigeria.

Miss STEPHEN NSAN-AWAJI EPHRAIM, the author of this book titled "Challenges and Prospects of Port and Maritime Industry in Nigeria" has obtained her B.Sc degree in Navigation and Waterborne Transport at (CMU) Romania. She also has obtained a Masters degree in Shipping International Trade and Finance at Danubius University of Galati, Romania.
