The book, MY PSALTER is a personalized Devotional material. It seeks to help each Christian faithful apply the Psalms in a more personal manner. Each word, syllable and sentence of the Psalmist is turned into those of the person (your own) praying whether reciting, singing or chanting, each word of the Psalm to address particular intents of each users heart.God is enthralled when man draws close to Him. Mans attitude to meditate day and night (Psalm 1: 2) on Gods word is most pleasing to God. Perhaps in realization of Gods love for better relationship with man, Apostle Paul counsels believers to pray without ceasing, (1 Thessalonian 5: 17). James on his part admonishes believers to pray in affliction and sing the Psalms when joyful (James 5: 13); graciously of course, there are Psalms to suit all occasions, situations and circumstances!Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation, (Matthew 26: 41), is the counsel from the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ himself to believers.Praying the Psalms by singing, chanting or reciting the Psalms is one of the vital ways through which believers pray without ceasing in fellowship with God Almighty.
