Zusatztext

Two new Schiff bases were prepared. The formed Schiff bases ligands were further employed for the synthesis of new complexes through reaction with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), La(III), Er(III) and Yb(III) metal ions. The synthesized Schiff bases and their metal complexes were characterized using some physicochemical techniques including elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, conductimetric measurement, magnetic susceptibility, mass spectrometry as well as thermal analyses (TG/DTG). The Schiff bases and their chelates have been screened for their antimicrobial activity and anticancer activity.
