The chemistry of sulfur has been recognized as a significant field of study in heterocyclic chemistry. An interesting feature of Thione is that it serves as starting materials for the synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds such as pyrimidines, pyrazolines, pyrazoles, some therapeutic value in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry for the purpose of therapeutic aspects to assure fitness for the purpose of medicinal product.
