Network Communication in recent years continues to increase based on the human life style. On a day, people communicate with each other with the use of a wide number of wireless technologies to make life so easier. MANET plays a very important role in the field of communication. It is the combination of both wireless networks and mobile nodes. Due to the dynamic movement in the nodes, the network infrastructure will be frequently changed. All the nodes have the capacity to configure themselves without any infrastructure and so, it is called Self configure. The nodes are communicated directly or by using some intermediate node based on signal strength and indirectly through multihop routing. The communication among the nodes can be implemented by using a routing algorithm. Dynamic topology property of MANET has broken routing paths frequently. It may degrade the packet delivery ratio and performance of the network. However, multipath selection is an immense demanding assignment to maximize the network lifetime.

Dr. Y. Harold Robinson is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head, Department of CSE in SCAD College of engineering and Technology, Tirunelveli. He finished ME degree in Anna University, Chennai. He completed Ph.D. in Anna University Chennai. His research interests are Wireless Networks Mobile Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks.
