This book has described on the principles of teaching with respect to the Competence Based Education and Training curriculum. It has put forward the acts of effective teaching and evaluation specifically in secondary schools, VET and NACTE Colleges in Tanzania. The book has further analyzed i) what effective teaching is with regard to principles of teaching ii) the comparison between CBET and KBET iii) the differences between participatory and non-participatory teaching methods iv) Involving Students in teaching v) Laerners' talking time for creation of critical thinkers and vi) the use of ABCDT formula for setting and marking of standardized tests/ examinations.
