This book is a collection of papers devoted by the author, and his collaborators, to critical analyses of nuclear technology, and a radical view on the approach of Science in capitalistic society.The subjects covered are the following. The first paper deals with the unsustainable legacy of the nuclear age. According to this concept, the second paper offers a non conventional reconstruction of the Italian nuclear programs for the production of electric energy, which is quite different from the official, institutional ones.The third paper deals with the climate crisis, and denounce an aspect which is usually disregarded by the environmentelists, that is the huge responsibilities of the militar activities and wars in carbon emissions and global warming.

Besides academic activity, he is engaged with the movements against nuclear programs.Marinella Correggia is a journalist and expert in environmental and military problems.Giorgio Ferrari is a nuclear expert and former engineer of Enel.
