Medicinal chemistry is a scientific approch to intersect of chemistry and pharmacology which involve preparation, characterisation and biological evolution. The discovery of new chemical compound requires not only its desine but also devlopment of testing methods and procedures which are needed to establish how a substance operates in the body and its suitability for uses as a drugs. Pharmacetuial chemistry is focused on quality aspects of medicinal chemistry and aim to assure fitness for the purpose of medicinal products.
