In this book, statistical representation of data reveals the changing trends in nutritional quality of Themeda triandra (Kangaroo grass). Nutritional quality changes with the seasons, fertilizer application, and by removing the reproductive tillers of the grass. The data also contributes in the existing research on Kangaroo grass and provides sufficient knowledge about the suitability of the grass as forage for livestock in arid and semi-arid areas of Pakistan.

The author has conducted extensive research on Kangaroo Grass during his M. Phil research studies. Later, he has also achieved a certificate of appreciation from Government of Pakistan for raising awareness about environmental issues. His area of expertise include; community forestry, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk reduction (DRR).
