The Synthesis of New Algorithms for CAD Profiling of Cutting Tools

The issue of complex surface generation using profiled tools and, also, CNC machine tools is a hard concern of international research teams. In present, special CAD/CAM/CAE methods are developed with broad applications in manufacturing engineering. They are used mainly analytical design methods, but, increasingly more make their way graphical methods. The current approaches in domain of cutting tools for complex surface generation gave solutions for surface enveloping based on the fundamental or complementary theorems. In both cases, the solutions are based on analytical methods, which, although rigorous from mathematical point of view, may be less intuitive and may give results difficult to be interpreted and applied in technique.
