Juan Casas Ávila was born in Mexico City in 1965, but since 20 years ago he lives in Tepeji del Río, Hidalgo. He studied Literature at UAM Iztapalapa. When he was a child, he read many comics and loved all stories, especially those where characters were restless children like him. He has won some literary awards. As a writer, the genre he likes most are tales, although he has written a couple of novels and some things similar to poems. He likes cats and dogs very much. He has been a waiter, screenwriter, driver, gardener, clown, salesman, cook. He currently works as a teacher.
