Katishonok Elena was born in Latvia, graduated from the philological faculty of the University of Latvia. In 1991 he emigrated to the United States, where he still lives, teaches Russian, is engaged in editing and translating, writing poetry. She made her d_but collection of poems "Bloknote" (Hermitage Publishers, 2005).
