Business process management (BPM, Business Process Management), or process management, is an advanced management discipline that considers the optimization and continuous improvement of business processes (or administrative regulations in the case of state and municipal governments) as the key to improving all components of the company's efficiency. The book deals with the key concepts of process management and summarizes its main approaches and methods. The Body of Knowledge occupies a special place among BPM literature due to its competence: it does not provide original author's methods, but only proven methods approved by leading experts of the Association of Business Process Management Professionals (ABPMP, www.abpmp.org).
