His journey as a writer began in May 2018, at 39. In December, of the same year, he received his first-ever prize for a short science fiction story, written for a contest organized by the well-known Romanian science fiction club "Helion", based in Timisoara, Romania, where he took 2nd place, with the short story "They Were Two". Since October 2018, he has published eighteen books: 4 free-verse poetry titles in a concept saga from which one title is also edited in French, 1 haiku love Japanese book, 9 spiritual titles in a long series that has more than 10 books to come, and 4 science-fiction titles. He also records and publishes his own audiobooks. So far he has published 10 audiobooks and 3 more to come. He has lots of books under editing so expect a lot of new stuff from him in the coming years.Adrian Tanase is also an electronic music producer, creating music under the moniker "Xplore" since 1999.
