Autorenportrait

Anna-­Maria Mayerhofer, architect and research assistant at the Chair of Sustainable Urbanism at the Technical University of Munich, researches, curates, and publishes on architecture and urban topics and is involved with Architects for Future. She previously worked at the DAM - German Architecture Museum and ARCH+.Leon Beck is chairman of Architects for Future and active in the Anti-Abriss-Allianz für Umbaukultur. Through projects such as the Abriss-Atlas, he advocates for greater socialawareness and the preservation and adaptation of existing buildings.Helen Gräser works on issues of space, place, and built context. Alongside her architectural practice, she approaches these topics through photography. She coordinated the Demolition Atlas for the BDA and teaches design at TU Dortmund University.Tim Rieniets is Professor of Urban Studies and Transformation at Leibniz University Hannover. He researches, teaches, and publishes on sustainability in architecture and urban development, with a focus on the adaptation of existing buildings (Umbaukultur).Alexander Stumm is Professor of Architectural and Urban Theory at Technische Hochschule Lübeck. He is co-founder of the Research Department for Ecological Building at the University of Kassel and co-editor of the series Fundamente Ökologisches Bauen.
