"The Tale of Sonechka" is the work of the great Russian poet Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva (1892-1941). Sonechka, one of Tsvetaeva's muzes, was an actress of the Stanislavsky Theater, a woman of extraordinary beauty and brilliant stage talent. Among other works of the author are "The Singer", "Room Attempt", "New Year", "On the Red Horse", "From the Sea", "Siberia", "The Wizard" and "Rat-fry". Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva's poems are permeated with deep lyricism, passion, unusual metaphors and eternal clash of the sublime and earthly.
