A new collection of 16 short stories was published by the sarcastic Syrian writer Ahmed Omar.
 This book is his seventh edition, after five collections and a novel.
 It consists of 16 texts and comprises 142 pages.
 The writer uses his unique writing style to guide the reader on a magical journey.
 He mixes history and present, the Syrian homeland and the German diaspora, the spirituality of the East and the modernity of the West, the everyday language and the language of Ibn al-Qarih, tears and laughter, salt and sugar.
 He thereby shows his ambition to shape an extraordinary and new Arabic narrative.
