The "health region" is becoming a guiding metaphor for integrated care and for healthy and social living spaces. At the same time, it is a mosaic of diverse levels, participants and logics that are now attempting to build a network. The volume gathers heterogeneous insights and illustrates the headstrong structure of the "health region" with its levels of organisation ("areas") and places of discourse ("arenas").
