How can the still widespread child and forced labor, inhumane working conditions and serious environmental pollution be effectively countered? The violation of human rights and the absence of the rule of law massively impair economic activities and hinder multinational companies. Therefore, it is also in the interest of the economy to promote the enforcement of human rights worldwide in discussions with NGOs and state institutions. The effects of globalization are  discussed on an interdisciplinary basis. In addition to the observance of human rights, the various sustainability goals and corresponding incentive systems must also be taken into account.
