Dr. Volker Weinberg: Volker Weinberg received his PhD in Physics from the Free University of Berlin for his studies in the field of Lattice QCD. He is working as a senior researcher in the HPC group at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ). His research interests include parallel programming languages and new HPC architectures.
