Practical work is an essential element of science and chemistry education curricula worldwide. The book reflects traditions, trends and current research of the role and effects of practical work in the science classroom, both on the secondary and tertiary level. The book was inspired by the 23rd Symposium on Chemistry and Science Education held at the TU Dortmund University, May 26-28, 2016.
