Illustrator Robert Nippoldt and film critic Daniel Kothenschulte have teamed up to pay homage to this remarkable era, sharing amusing stories and anecdotes about the glamor and grit of Tinseltown. It was Hollywood's golden prewar era, and Nippoldt's illustrations bring it back to life.
