In the context of scholars growing interest in Kants lectures, his Naturrecht Feyerabend is of particular importance. It is Kants first representation of his philosophy of law and was inspired by a lecture that he gave while completing his work Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten. Hence, the texts illuminate each other. This critical edition is based on the only surviving transcription of Kants natural law lectures from 1784, which was first published in the Kant Index. Thanks to this new edition, Naturrecht Feyerabend is finally at the centre of Kant research.
