The study documents a several-year pilot project for the inclusion of young people with special needs at basic vocational schools in Bavaria, Germany. Organisational, personnel and teaching-related measures were developed within the framework of a cooperation between nine different sites, each with a basic and a special vocational school. The paper presents the results of the pilot project and comprises questions, the methodology and the results of the scientific evaluation.
