The diagnosis was and still is terrible for me, but I have learned to live with my illness. A disease that is not curable today, but that can relieve the symptoms. After such a diagnosis, one is shocked first and defeated after a period of reflection. It takes a lot of time for our brains to understand what's actually happening to us.
