Thomas Kremer, an investigator for the Zurich prosecutors office, is looking into a case of possible corruption that relates to the sale of a private clinic. Kremer, a maverick, always thinks for himself; he can never be talked into believing anything. While obsessively investigating the case, he discovers a web of lies and manipulations. Rejecting the harmless explanations that hes offered, he butts heads with government officials and financiers, rubbing them the wrong way with his blunt approach. Its no different in his personal life half-Jewish, hes particularly sensitive to the modern-day anti-Semitism in the media, as well as in his own surroundings. He doesnt shy away from exposing contradictions and drawing uncomfortable conclusions.

Andreas Pritzker:Andreas Pritzker wurde 1945 in Windisch (Schweiz) geboren. Nach dem Physikstudium an der ETH Zürich arbeitete er zunächst als Forscher und beratender Ingenieur in der Industrie, dann als Forscher im Schweizerischen Institut für Nuklearforschung (SIN). Nach fünfjähriger Tätigkeit im Stab des Schweizerischen Schulrats (heute ETH-Rat) leitete er während fünfzehn Jahren zuerst die Verwaltung, später den Logistikbereich des Paul Scherrer Instituts (PSI). Seit 2003 ist er freischaffender Autor. Mitglied ist er bei Autoren der Schweiz (AdS) und beim Deutschweizer PEN-Zentrum. Er ist verheiratet und lebt in Küttigen (Schweiz).Neben belletristischen Werken hat er Beiträge in Anthologien und Sachbüchern veröffentlicht.
