Through a comparative reading of the works of writers such as Tolstoy, Flaubert, D'Annunzio and Grazia Deledda (just to mention the main ones), the volume tries to outline the main characteristics of these clergymen, examining the literary influences - even the reciprocal ones - available in each of the texts studied.
