Zusatztext
Gender disparity in education is a serious problem in societies, of developing countries including Pakistan where difference between male and female literacy rate is an evidence of gender disparity in education. The aim of study is to investigate determinants of gender disparity in academic performance of students in the public universities of Faisalabad, Pakistan. To achieve this aim, the specific objectives of this research were formalized as to estimate the gender gap in academic performance of master students: and to analyze the determinants of academic performance of public universities of Faisalabad. Gender gaps are problematic in every sector of Pakistans economy, and this situation is not different in case of public universities, where academic performance is assumed to be influenced by gender besides other factors.
