Stem cells are unique cell populations with the ability of self-renewal as well as differentiation into multiple cell types. These remarkable properties make them attractive tools for regenerative medicine, disease modeling, drug discovery and drug development in general. Feras Al Battah was born on 1978 in Kuwait. He is a biologist (1999) from Birzeit University, Palestine. He has a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Currently He is an assistant professor of stem cell biology in the department of biology and biotechnology at Arab American University-Palestine.
