Bioglass and calcium phosphate have been studied at length because of their properties and potential properties as a bone grafting material. In literature it has been studied in the laboratories and animal studies. It has been used in orthopaedics and now has found its way into dentistry. It can be used in periodontology as a alloplastic bone grafting material and have more promising results as studies continue.

He has done his masters in clinical periodontology from Queen Mary University London. He has international and national publications and presentations.
