IoT and the Industry 4.0: Principles and Educational Applications

IoT and the Industry 4.0 allows increasing the efficiency with the integration of devices and appliances connected to the internet helping students, teachers, and other professionals in the teaching and learning process. It will be shown that the IoT has the possibility in education to provide remote access to educational tools, in order to allow the learners to clarify doubts while studying at remote locations, as well as to share information with their teachers and classmates on specific platforms. In addition, the authors will show that the same application can be applied in the Industry 4.0.
