Zusatztext

Tropically neglected diseases are systematically reemerging in the tropics and even in western countries. Public Health Scholar-Practitioners are currently facing the daunting task on how to effectively, efficiently, and proficiently address these emerging public health issues. In fact, Importations and transportations of originally neglected diseases have become a modern paradigm. As such, Public Health Scholar-Practitioners have to initiate and implement some effective intervention methodologies in resolving these critical public health issues. Globalization has played some significant roles in the importations, transportations, and others factors in the spread of neglected tropical diseases such as Ebola, Dengue Fever, Measles, and Malaria. While Ebola was first discovered in Zaire in 1976 it was never viewed as a threat to the western world. However, this has proved to be incorrect due to its resurfacing in 2014 and 2015. As such, this book recommends that inclusiveness rather than exclusiveness is the most effective intervention methodology when dealing with the current and emerging health care phenomenon.
