Water is essential to the survival of any living being, economic development and environmental protection. In fact few other resources affect many aspects of the economy, health and environment. Untreated polluted water loaded with minerals and organic pollutants poses a serious problem for the ecosystem because of the poor biodegradability and toxicity of organic substances which causes severe damage to the biosphere consists of the all living beings. The microbial biotechnology is the best tool for the environmental protection. The microorganisms used as biosorbents have proved successful in the living or dead state.
