Zusatztext
The area under study is a modest, typical model of other rural zones in the Sudan. The study has revealed an extensive endemicity of Schistosoma haematobium over the whole area. So, it was necessary to carry out the various currently employed methods of detection of Schistosoma haematobium and compare their feasibility. In conclusion, the modern instrumental techniques proved higher accuracy and reproducibility compared to the conventional techniques for diagnosis of urinary schistosomiasis.
