Occupational toxicology refers to a risk or danger as a consequence of the nature or working conditions of a particular job. Dental surgeons are exposed to a number of occupational toxicology in their professional work. With advent of advanced technology, no matter how beneficial it is, can exert a negative impact also on some members of the population. This book highlights on occupational toxicology like physical, chemical, biological, psychological, musculoskeletal disorders and their effects. The aim of this book is to increase the level of awareness of occupational toxicology among the dental surgeons and also to provide information on the ways in which hazards can be reduced.

Dr Hemang Mangukia completed his Graduation in Dental surgery from Darshan Dental College udaipur in 2012. and is pursuing his Masters in Periodontology and Implantology from the same college. As a part of his academic curriculum has attended speciality conferences and presented scientific papers. This book is part of his work for master program.
