The World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months of age.The breast milk contains the right amount of nutrients that the infant needs to grow healthy and strong. It also helps protect the infant from common childhood illnesses and infection. Several approaches were developed to help with breastfeeding.
