Zusatztext
The presented study encompasses the synthesis of a series of sulfonamides derivatives of 1-amino-2-phenylethane in excellent yield by reaction with various aryl sulfonyl chlorides, in the presence of aqueous sodium carbonate solution under dynamic pH control. These projected structures of the synthesized derivatives were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR and EIMS spectral techniques. Moreover, the screening of derivatives against acetyl cholinesterase (AChE), butyryl cholinesterase (BChE) and lipoxygenase (LOX) enzymes rendered these molecules as potent inhibitors of cholinesterase enzymes, relative to Baicalein and Eserine, which were used as reference standard.
