Zusatztext
Several years of high-resolution continuous field data were collected on water quantity and quality parameters, including parameters pertaining to sediment yield from field scale plots slated for development. This text summarizes work related to both the monitoring and modelling of such parameters, and includes a new empirical model for the prediction of event-based sediment yields. A conceptual IDF design tool is also presented to aid erosion and sediment control planners in the appropriate siting and sizing of structural BMPs and behavioural practices based on the sensitivity of receiving waterways and the need to meet basic effluent quality standards.
