Zusatztext
Major bovine diseases like FMD, HS, BQ, Anthrax, Brucellosis and IBR are the main cause of production loss in India. Brucella and IBR can be transmitted through semen and thereby affecting a large susceptible population in a short span of time by means of artificial insemination. To improve the health of animals and its production, it is necessary to understand the disease, its occurrence, the prevalence and ultimately its prevention. Therefore, a study was taken to ascertain the prevalence of major bovine diseases in India.
