The world entered in the 21st century facing many challenges, often in an agricultural context. Prominent still is the concern for feeding an ever growing population with safe and healthy food. This is posing a serious problem to even maintain the food grain production and leaving only the option of increasing the productivity of grain crops particularly rice. Proper fertilization is an important management practice which can increase the yield of hybrid rice. Proper planting geometry have more advantages such as, to maximize light utilization efficiency, improves aeration within crop canopy, enhances soil respiration and provides better weed control thereby higher crop yields.
