Sunday Funmilola Babalola graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, in 1986. He obtained his Master's Degree in Philosophy of Religion at Lagos State University, Nigeria, in 2004 and his PhD in Philosophy of Religion at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. He is married to Deborah and Blessed with two boys.
