It is expected that this catalogue of traditionally used medicinal plants for kidney stone will be helpful for initiating further research to develop novel drugs for kidney stone.

Dr. K.V. George is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Botany, C.M.S. College, Kottayam. He is the research guide of M.G. University, Kottayam. He obtained his M.Sc., M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Kerala and his field of specialization is Angiosperm Taxonomy and Ethnobotany. He has published over 50 research papers.
