Indias future is determined by well educated, skilled and healthy youths. Therefore development of youth is the responsibility of government, society and parents. The book Economics of risky behaviors among youths is the comprehensive explanation of the risky behavior among youths. The attempt has been made to explain the different risky behaviors among youths.Youths are involved in driving vehicles,drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, sexual activities and physical fighting. They have depression and some youths are malnourished. This book provides the explanation of each risky behavior among youths.It also explains different socioeconomic,demographic, family related factors to different types of risks. The main emphasis in this book is given to find the factors behind high risky behaviors among youths. In addition to behavioral perspective, it is also useful for policy implication. Dr.Sanjay Rode is Assistant professor in S.K.Somaiya college,Department of Economics, University of Mumbai, India. He has worked on several national and international research projects on different areas in economics. He has written over thirty five research papers and seven books. At present, he is working as national economist on ADB project.
